On October 8, 2015, Dalianda Holdings, a leading semiconductor component distributor dedicated to the Asia-Pacific market, announced that its product has launched a three-phase Hall sensor DC brushless fan based on Infineon's XMC1302 series of microcontrollers. Degree control solution.

Under the requirements of energy saving and emission reduction, DC brushless motor, as a new type of motor, has the advantages of high efficiency and simple control, and is gradually replacing the original AC asynchronous motor with lower efficiency. However, the conventional DC brushless motor has the disadvantage of large commutation noise due to the use of trapezoidal wave control. However, if you change to sine wave control, you can solve the noise problem very well.

The XMC1302 DC brushless fan sine wave control system introduced by Dalian Dapinjia is mainly composed of Hall signal sampling, speed calculation, speed PI adjustment and PWM generation. The speed setting potentiometer or the host computer sets the speed reference value through the serial port; the rotor position estimation and the speed calculation are performed according to the Hall signal of the DC brushless fan, and the obtained actual speed value and the given speed enter the speed PI regulator together, The output is the PWM modulation amplitude; through the above PWM amplitude and rotor position information, the three-phase PWM signal of the drive motor can be calculated, and the DC brushless fan is driven by the inverter circuit. The modulation strategy adopted in this scheme is the minimum switching loss SPWM.

The program is based on the Infineon XMC1302 micro-control. The switching power supply part is designed with the core of the Infineon CoolSETTM F3 series of dedicated integrated ICs (including MOSFETs and their drives); the inverter circuit uses Infineon single-tube IGBTs and EiceDRIVER driver chips. This scheme can be applied to occasions where control performance and noise are high.

Incremental Encoder

Incremental encoders provide speed, direction and relative position feedback by generating a stream of binary pulses proportional to the rotation of a motor or driven shaft. Lander offers both optical and magnetic incremental encoders in 4 mounting options: shafted with coupling, hollow-shaft, hub-shaft or bearingless. Single channel incremental encoders can measure speed which dual channel or quadrature encoders (AB) can interpret direction based on the phase relationship between the 2 channels. Indexed quadrature encoders (ABZ) are also available for homing location are startup.
